Step 1. Place all the ingredients into a blender and combine until smooth. Add more water to reach desired consistency.

If you are adding them raw you will need a strong blender. Peel the beets using a knife or peeler and cut them into tiny squares before adding. The second option is to roast them which will give the recipe a smoother consistency. To save as much time as possible if you want to roast them. Wash and wrap in foil before placing into a hot oven for 1 hour the night before. You can place the roasted beets into an airtight container in the fridge until you are ready to use them.

Delicious Beet And Berries Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 large bananas cut into chunks and frozen
- 1 cup strawberries frozen
- 1 cup raspberries frozen
- 2 large red beets roasted peeled and chopped, frozen
- 2 cup almond milk unsweetened
- 6-8 large ice cubes
- 1 T. chia seeds
- Optional: 4 sprigs of fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender, put the bananas, berries, beets, almond milk, and ice cubes. Set the blender to the highest setting and combine until fully incorporated, smooth, and creamy. This will take about 2 minutes. If the mixture becomes too thick, you can add a bit of water until you have your desired consistency.
- Separate the mixture into 4 smoothie glasses or mason jars. Place some chia seeds on top and top with fresh mint for garnish. Serve and Enjoy!
