- 15 oz. black beans if using canned: drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon dried Mexican oregano
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
- ½ medium red bell pepper finely diced
- Iceberg butter, or Romaine lettuce leaves for wrapping
