💭Tip for Making the Perfect
Here are a few tips and tricks for making the best tropical smoothie:
- Frozen fruit is a must for someone who wants a thick and smooth recipe. It will not only blend easier but will have a stronger fruity flavor.
- Make sure you are using enough liquid in the smoothie to keep the blender from getting chunks of fruit stuck in the blender. Also, make sure to put the softer ingredients in beforehand.
- Combine the smoothie ingredients for a minute or two until it looks pureed. I love blending the smoothie a bit longer because it becomes silky smooth!
- Using a high-powered blender is always beneficial with smoothie recipes. It will not only help blend the ingredients easier, but it can reduce the risk of chunks getting stuck in the blades.
- One thing I love to make with leftover smoothies is popsicles! You can just pour the leftover smoothie into popsicle molds and freeze!
