    This Mango slushie is both delicious and refreshing and doesn't require any extra sweetener. It's made with fresh or frozen mango and orange juice, and a little bit of lime juice provides a nice balance to the sweet flavors. The perfect Copycat McDonald's Mango Slushie for a hot summer day!

    • Fresh lime juice
    • Fresh light orange juice
    • Water
    • Large ice cubes

    Add the mango, lime juice, orange juice, and water to the blender and use the pulse feature to combine. 

    Add the ice to the mango mixture and pulse to crush the ice into small pieces. Be sure not to over-blend. 

    Pour into a tall glass and garnish with rosemary-mango spears or mango chunks.

    Serve immediately and enjoy.

    Hint: For an even more refreshing slushie, you can also freeze the mango and orange juice ahead of time. This will make the slushy extra icy!

    • If you prefer a sweeter slush, you can add more juice or agave nectar to the blender. 
    • You can also add some fresh strawberries or pineapples for extra fruit flavor.
    • Swap the water with coconut water 
    • For tasty frozen adult beverages, add 2 ounces of agave tequila or liquor of your choice.

    🍽️ What to Serve With

    • Serve it as a mocktail or cocktail at your next BBQ, or enjoy it with some fresh fruit salad or grilled chicken marinated in lime and orange juice. 
    • For a fun tropical twist, try adding a scoop of coconut ice cream on top.
    •  This slushie is also perfect to serve alongside some burgers and fries, or cheeseburger soup. 

    🍶 Storing

    Any leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator if you want it like juice or store it in the freezer and reblend when you are ready to finish the slushie.

    💭Top Tips

    •   Be sure not to over blend, as you want the slush to have the slushie consistency.
    • . If you don't have fresh mangoes, use frozen and adjust the amount of water accordingly. 
    • For a kids-friendly version, reduce or omit the lime juice. 
    • If your blender is not strong enough to crush ice, freeze it in an ice cube tray first then add it to the blender.

    Yes, you can make the slushie base ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator or freezer until you are ready to blend. 

    Can I use canned mangoes instead of fresh?

    Yes, canned mangoes can be used instead of fresh, but be sure to adjust the amount of orange juice and water in the recipe.
