    Combine the frozen mango chinks, maple syrup, and lime juice.

    Process on high for about 5 minutes, or until fully smooth

    Spread the smooth puree in a deep baking sheet and freeze for at least 3 hours.

    • I am using frozen mangos because I can keep them on hand all the time. You can also freeze fresh mangos to use.
    • If you do not like maple syrup, you can also use simple syrup.
    • Add different flavors and toppings to this sorbet, like coconut flakes or coconut chips for a tropical flavor, chopped nuts, fresh banana slices, dried fruit like raisins or cranberries, or even a spoon of nut butter.
    • Add other flavors like like pineapple and banana.
    • Sweeten the sorbet with brown sugar instead of maple syrup.
    • For a more complex flavor, mix in some spices like cardamom and cinnamon. Add a little chili powder. It is the perfect way to add a kick.
    • This process will work with any type of frozen fruit, so you can easily make this in any flavor.

    • 2 lbs. frozen mango pieces
    • ¼ cup maple syrup
    • 2 limes juiced

    Instructions
     

    • In a food processor, combine the frozen mango pieces, maple syrup and the juice of 2 limes and process for about 5 minutes, or until fully smooth
    • Spread the smooth mango paste in a deep baking sheet and freeze for at least 3 hours.
